Police reports said officers took two men into custody Tuesday and early Wednesday with several open suspensions on their licenses and warrants for other charges.

About 2 a.m. Wednesday, police pulled over a car driven by 21-year-old Brandon Johnson of Youngstown at Williamson Avenue and Erie Street for having no license-plate light. A records check revealed Johnson has four suspensions on his license just this year, the last one in June, and he also has a failure-to-appear warrant from municipal court on a driving-under-suspension charge, reports said.

Johnson was taken into custody on the warrant and also cited for his fifth driving-under-suspension charge this year.

About 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, police pulled over a car at Market Street and Hughes Avenue driven by 28-year-old Justin Secre of Boardman for having an obstructed windshield. He also had several open suspensions and was taken into custody on three failure-to-appear warrants from municipal court for domestic violence, reports said. A passenger, Nicholas Davis, 26, of Boardman had warrants from municipal court and a warrant for receiving stolen property from Mahoning County Area Court in Austintown. Both men were taken to the Mahoning County jail.
