Toy drive to begin at Kennsington

CANFIELD

Kennsington Golf Club & Grille is a continued supporter and drop-off location for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

Toys for Tots 2014 toy drive will begin with the first Trot for Tots 5K at Kennsington, 4171 Westford Place, on Nov. 1.

The race begins at 9 a.m. Registration is $25 and a toy donation. All proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots.

Local Toys for Tots Marine representatives will be on site. Second Sole of Boardman will be timing the race and creating the course.

Prizes will be awarded to top male and female competitors. Shirts and brunch buffets will be included for all racers.

The toy drive will continue until Dec. 12. Every new, unwrapped toy donation ($10 value or higher) will receive a certificate good for nine holes at Kennsington Golf Club.
