A summary of recent criminal activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Oct.2

Telephone harassment: a 17-year-old Canfield male from Boardman was arrested for telephone harassment at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

Oct. 11

Domestic violence: An 11-year-old male was arrested for domestic violence on Savannah St.

Oct. 12

Drug abuse: Luke Maola, 29, of Carolina Avenue, was arrested for drug abuse.

Oct. 16

Drug Abuse: James Suber, 46,of Homer Avenue, Canton was arrested for drug abuse.

Drug possession: Desmond Davis 18, of West Glen Drive, Boardman was arrested on two counts of drug possession.

Oct. 17

Warrant: Police arrested Justin Fry-Starrett, 21, of 6441 Rosser Ave., Hubbard on a Campbell Police warrant for receiving stolen property.

Drugs: Samuel Brown, 19, of Morris Street, New Castle, Pa. was arrested for drug paraphernalia and Tyler Weingartner,18, of S. Main St., Bessemer,Pa. was arrested for drug abuse, and drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 18

Obstructing: Metrisha Davis, 45, of W. Main St., was arrested for wrongful entrustment and obstructing official business.

AUSTINTOWN

Oct. 13

Lost or stolen property: A ladies wallet was reported lost or stolen at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged by five females at Denny’s, 4921 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was smashed in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: A student’s gym clothes were stolen at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Breaking and entering: Tools were taken from a garage at a home in the 300 block of N. Edgehill Ave.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen at Get-Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

Bomb threat: Pure Foods, 340 Victoria Road, was evacuated, but nothing suspicious was found. The business was closed.

Oct. 14

Criminal trespass: Mary Young, 40, of Washington St., Warren, was issued a summons for criminal trespassing.

Fraud: Seven unauthorized charges were made on a credit card at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Drive.

Theft: Two males stole food items at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal trespassing: Stephanie Satterelle, 31, of of E. Lucius Ave., Youngstown, and Walter Yeager, Jr., 53, also of E. Lucius Ave., were both charged with criminal trespassing at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Aggravated burglary: A male was robbed by several people in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Burglary: A PlayStation and jewelry were taken at a home in the 3000 block of Tall Oaks Lane.

Recovered property: An Ohio ID card was recovered at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Criminal damaging: Damage to Halloween decorations was reported at a home in the 60 block of Rosemont Ave.

Oct. 15

Criminal trespassing: Tabitha Kerr, 45,of Youngstown-Hubbard Road was issued a summons for criminal trespassing at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized transactions were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Warwick Drive,South.

Theft: Brett Shipley, 36, of St. John Ave., Niles was issued a summons for theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Two males attempted to short-change a teller at Noday’s, 5229 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: The front door was forced open, and a television was taken at a home in the 70 block of S. Navarre Ave.

Oct. 16

Theft: Money was taken at the American Legion No. 301, 3652 Oakwood Ave.

Warrant: James Thomas, 27, of Timberbrook Drive, Canfield was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

Theft: A laptop computer was stolen at a home in the 5000 block of Callaway Circle.

Lost or stolen plate: A dealer plate was reported missing at Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A theft was reported at a home in the 6000 block of Ruby Court. There is a suspect.

Recovered property: Two drills with batteries were recovered at Meridian Road and Interstate 680.

Aggravated menacing: Phone text threats were reported at a home in the 600 block of Duke Circle.

Vandalism: Windows were damaged at Leonard Kirtz School, 4801 Wood-ridge Drive.

Burglary: A front door was kicked in and electronics were taken at a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

Auto theft: A 1995 Ford Windstar van was stolen at Fisher Board, 3650 Connecticut Ave.

Breaking and entering: Copper, stoves, a refrigerator and a washer/dryer were stolen from a vacant home in the 100 block of S. Main St.

Oct. 17

Theft: Two juvenile males were released to their parents in the theft of a vehicle in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A men’s wallet was stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Theft: A women’s tote bag was taken from an auto in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into in the 200 block of DeHoff Drive.

Theft: Two suspects were seen stealing steaks at Aldi, 5863 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: a vehicle was hit with a brick in the 3000 block of Dunbar Ave.

Theft: Jewelry and boots were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of East Webb Road.
