Truslow family

The past year has been a financial struggle for Robert Truslow and his family of four in Lowellville. Truslow had to step down from his position as the technology administrator at Campbell schools to take care of cirrhosis and liver cancer. Family and co-workers joined to support the Truslow family by hosting a spaghetti dinner next weekend.

When: 12 to 4 p.m. Nov. 2

Location: St. Maron Church Hall, 1555 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown

Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for children age 3 to 8, free for children under 3

Other: The dinner also will include an auction and a raffle to raise additional funds to help the family.
