A West Avenue Northwest man was released from the Trumbull County jail Monday night after posting $80,000 bond, charged with four counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

John T. Miller, 25, was arraigned on the charges Monday in Warren Municipal Court after spending the weekend in jail. A not-guilty plea was entered for him.

He was arrested after investigators with the Trumbull County Internet Crimes Against Children unit served him with a search warrant at his home Friday morning. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted with the investigation.

Computers and other digital media were seized and will be analyzed as part of the investigation, which began when investigators observed potential criminal activity through monitoring of Internet activity, authorities said.

As a condition of his bond, Miller is required to turn over all devices associated with using the Internet to law enforcement and to not use the Internet.

The ICAC unit consists of investigators from various police departments, including Warren, Howland, Hubbard and the sheriff’s office.
