Historical society will sponsor luncheon

YOUNGSTOWN

Girard Historical Society will sponsor the annual Founders Day Luncheon at 11 a.m. Nov. 1 at St. Mark Orthodox Church Hall, 3560 Logan Way. Tickets are $25 per person for a meal that includes chicken breast, vegetables and salad.

The speaker will be Jim Amey on Idora Park. There also will be a cash raffle.

An open house takes place every second and fourth Sunday through November.
