Paige Dempsey had 11 points, four aces and 23 digs for Aquinas, which will play Western Reserve in Thursday’s district final at 7:30 p.m. at Columbiana High School. Katie Hiestand added 16 kills and three blocks and Aubrey Dempsey had 47 assists.

Western Reserve 25-26-25, Heartland Christian 18-24-16

Rachel Maslach had 15 points and 18 kills for Reserve, while Aleah Hughes had 22 digs and three aces, Marissa Phipps had 24 assists and Sydney Miller had two blocks. For Heartland, Kristen Osborn had 21 kills and 29 digs, Ginny Burgess made 32 assists with seven points and Bonny Flynn had four aces.
