YOUNGSTOWN — City residents are invited to attend a community forum on "You and the Law: What to do when stopped by the police" from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 505 Parkcliffe Ave.

Presentations will be made by Black Knights Police Association members; Jimmy Hughes, retired Youngstown police chief; Anita Davis, retired city detective; and Atty. Kim Akins.

The forum will include discussion on the roles of different law-enforcement agencies, citizens’ rights and responsibilities when they are stopped by police, and how to protest the conduct of law-enforcement officials.
