Niles: Eastwood Field will host a trick-or-treat event from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Beaver Township: Beaver Township Park will host a Halloween party for kids ages 1 to 12 at 6 p.m. Thursday at Woodworth Park. Woodworth is located at Luther Avenue between Market Street and Southern Boulevard in Youngstown. Refreshments, hayrides, a pumpkin hunt, an appearance by Jocko the Clown, and candy will be offered. Guests are urged to take a flashlight for the pumpkin hunt. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Boardman: Quaker Steak & Lube, 435 Boardman-Poland Road, will have a Kids’ Trunk or Treat event from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Games, goodies and hayrides will be offered.

Canfield: Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., will host Trunk or Treat event from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Children are invited to travel trunk-to-trunk collecting candy, as well as play games and eat snacks. Children are welcome to arrive in costume or regular clothes, and should be accompanied by parents or responsible adults. Avoid toy or costume weapons. Parking available in lot behind church. Niles: A Halloween parade is planned for 1 p.m. Sunday in downtown Niles.

Warren: A Halloween parade, sponsored by the city, is planned for noon Sunday.

Girard: A Trunk or Treat event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 890 Churchh Hill-Hubbard Road, offering games, music, refreshments, pumpkins and candy distribution. Activities will be moved inside the church in the event of bad weather. For information, call the pastor at 330-505-1192.

Youngstown: Brownlee Woods Neighborhood Association will host a Dress Up Your Car/Trunk-or- Treat event from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Faith Community Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd. Participants are urged to dress up themselves and their cars. Guests will receive Halloween treats and refreshments. Call 330-782-1022 for information. Take a nonperishable food item, as all goods will be collected and donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.

Warren: Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St., will sponsor a Trunk or Treat for children age 2 to 12 from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The cars of members and friends of the church’s congregation will have their trunks open and decorated for Halloween, where they will be handing out candy and treat bags for children.
