CAMPBELL

Three adults purportedly involved in a drug trafficking and child endangerment case were arraigned Tuesday in Campbell Municipal Court.

The court set 9 a.m. Friday hearings for George Weidner, 27, of Youngstown; Amanda Pirlozzi, 25, of Youngstown; and Tracy Walton, 20, of East Liverpool.

Weidner’s bond was set at $25,000, Pirlozzi’s at $24,500 and Walton’s at $13,000. Walton posted a cash bond of $1,300 Tuesday and was released from the Mahoning County jail. Neither Weidner nor Pirlozzi had posted bond as of Tuesday afternoon, according to the court clerk.

Police arrested the three adults on Gladstone Road Friday night during a traffic stop. Police suspected there were drugs hidden in Pirlozzi’s vehicle. They found 42.1 grams of marijuana hidden in a child’s backpack, 26.9 grams of cocaine stuffed in five bags, a black scale, multiple plastic bags and $375 cash.

Police also charged the three adults with child endangerment, as Pirlozzi’s daughter was in the vehicle at the time of the arrest. Police said Pirlozzi’s father is taking care of the child.
