“Hungry Games” (8 p.m., Food): Well, at least the bazillionth food series to hit the small screen has a clever-ish title.

“The Millers” (8:30 P.M., CBS): Somehow, this sitcom has survived for another year. Season 2 begins tonight.

“Private Violence” (9 p.m., HBO): This timely, highly important 90-minute documentary examines the horrors of domestic abuse through the eyes of two female survivors. Presented during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the film sheds light on the complex, frustrating realities of the abuse women suffer every day at the hands of intimate partners, as well as the difficulties of prosecuting the cases and why it isn’t always easy for victims to simply “walk away.”

“The Blacklist” (10 p.m., NBC): It’s shades of the Ebola crisis on “The Blacklist” as the FBI targets a group of eco-terrorists who might be planning to unleash a strain of the Black Plague upon the world.

“Independent Lens,” 10 p.m., PBS: Identical twins reunite and discover remarkable similarities in “Twin Sisters.”

Dublin Grange presents ‘Afflicted’

CANFIELD

The Dublin Grange Theatre Company and AfterSchool Players will present “Afflicted: Daughters of Salem” at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Dublin Grange, 6571 Fairground Blvd.

The play tells the story of the events that led up to the Salem witch trials.

An interactive forum that explores the accusers and their community is built into the play. It encourages reflection and is ideal for classroom work. The play explores the history and causes of the trials and how girls raised in oppression have negotiated alliances and power throughout history.

The cast includes Miranda Canacci, Chloe Housteau, Angelina Panno, Paige Brockway, Sophie Salupo and Allie Sayhoun. Tickets are $15 ($10 for students and seniors). Call 330-518-4064 or go to dublingrange-theatre.com.
