Experience: Practiced law for 27 years; as a judge, given many assignments by the Ohio Supreme Court, including sitting as a visiting judge twice; chairman of Advisory Committee on Case Management; sat in five other appellate districts; requested by the Supreme Court to lecture to the newly elected appellate judges for last two sessions; 100 percent affirmative vote from Lake County Bar Association.

Experience: Authored more than 1,000 appellate opinions and decided more than 3,000 appellate cases; served as a visiting judge on the Ohio Supreme Court, also the second, seventh and ninth district courts of appeals; on Ohio Judicial Conference Executive Committee; co-chairwoman of the Ohio Judicial Conference’s Criminal Law and Procedure Committee and on the Appellate Procedure Committee; appointed in 2012 to the Supreme Court’s Advisory Committee for Courthouse Security; former assistant United States attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Ohio as a member of the General Crimes Division; first assistant criminal prosecutor in Trumbull County; responsible for overseeing all felony criminal prosecutions and was trial counsel on major criminal cases, including capital murder, murder and rape cases.
