SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Howland Girl Scouts Troop 554 donated much-needed items to the Christy House Emergency Shelter. They raised the money for the items through a garage sale. The project was the bronze award, the highest achievement a Junior Girl Scout can earn. In the front row, from left, are Beth Latimer, manager of Christy House; Scouts Elizabeth Potts, Haylee Adgate, Haylee Lawson, Destiny Ross and Halee Hall. In the back row are Thomas Conley, Christy House president and CEO; and Scouts Kaitlyn James and Madison James.
