Becky Dearing Wall, vice president and treasurer of Dearing Compressor & Pump Co., will receive the Woman of the Year honor during a National Business Women’s Week event Tuesday. The event is sponsored by the Youngstown Business & Professional Women’s Club.
The award dinner will take place beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St.

Atty. James. B. Dietz, managing partner of Friedman & Rummell Co. LPA, will present Dearing Wall with the award during the ceremony.
Dearing Wall was selected by the YBPW as the Woman of the Year as a result of her role in the growth and financial success of Dearing Compressor and its expanding skilled workforce, which has grown from 40 in 2005 to more than 200.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dearing Wall is an active volunteer in the community. She was the 2013 chairwoman of the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.
The Business and Professional Women’s Foundation celebrates National Business Women’s Week during the third week of October to recognize the achievements of American working women.
