Someone spray-painted “Liberty Leopards” on the band shell, totem pole and football field at Arrowhead Stadium between Friday night and Saturday morning, a police report says. The damage was discovered at 8 a.m. Saturday. Red lines were also spray-painted through posters made for band members and hung on the band shell. Police estimate $1,000 in damage. Liberty played Girard at Liberty Friday; Liberty won.

Robber sought

YOUNGSTOWN

A man wearing a bandana over his face robbed Dollar General at 2981 McGuffey Road at 8:38 p.m. Friday, police reported. The man was about 6 feet tall, 210 pounds and 25 years old and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and gray jogging pants. He tried at gunpoint to make the clerk open the safe, but the clerk told him the safe is on a timer. The robber got away with $204 from the register and fled on foot, police said.
