Mr. and Mrs. Simeo mark 53rd milestone

PALATINE, ILL.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Simeo of Palatine, Ill., formerly of Youngstown and Boardman, marked their 53rd wedding anniversary Oct. 14.

The former Barbara Majernik married Mr. Simeo on Oct. 14, 1961, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Youngstown.

Their children are Joseph W. (Margee) Simeo of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; Ann B. (Bradley) Heinz of Kildeer, Ill.; and Joan A. (Michael) Munson of Boulder, Colo. They also have 12 grandchildren.

Mrs. Simeo retired after working as a registered nurse. She is a member of Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, St. Vincent de Paul Society and Respect Life.

Her husband retired as a certified public accountant. He worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube Boardman office. He is a past grand knight of Knights of Columbus and was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

The couple are members of St. Theresa Church and former members of St. Charles Church in Boardman.
