Anniversary party planned for Bucks’ 50th

CANFIELD

James H. and Marilu Buck of Canfield were married on Oct. 24, 1964, at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church in Youngstown.

The couple have four children, Patricia (Christopher) Chiaro of Chesapeake, Va.; Gregory (Heidi) Buck of Poland; Richard (Sandra) Buck of Delaware, Ohio; and Christopher (Meghan) Buck of Poland.

Mr. and Mrs. Buck also have nine grandchildren, Lyndzie and Stephanie Chiaro of Chesapeake, Andrew and Ashley Buck of Poland, Marina, Shelby and Carly Buck of Delaware, and Caden and Delaney Buck of Poland.

Over the years the couple have hosted nine foreign exchange students from Brazil, Germany, Central America and Belarus.

Mrs. Buck is a homemaker.

Mr. Buck was in the Army and National Guard. He retired in 1999 after working 42 years at General Motors in Lordstown. He is a member of bowling leagues at Amron Lanes in Canfield, Boardman Lanes and Holiday Bowl in Struthers. For 62 years, he has been a gateman at the Canfield Fair.

The Bucks’ children and spouses will host, by invitation, a 50th anniversary party in their honor on Oct. 25.
