CAMPBELL
Police charged three people with drug trafficking and child endangerment Friday after they said they found marijuana and cocaine in a child’s Dora the Explorer bag.
Police pulled the three over at 6:53 p.m. on Gladstone Street because their car didn’t have a front license plate.
Police called Children Services regarding a 4-year-old girl in the car, and she was placed with family members. The driver, Amanda Pirlozzi, 25, of Hawn Street, Youngstown, told police she is the child’s mother.
Also in the car were George D. Weidner Jr., 27, of Earle Avenue, Youngstown; and Tracy Michelle Walton, 20, of East Liverpool.
In the back seat, police found the child’s bag. It contained 42.1 grams of marijuana, five sandwich bags of suspected cocaine, trafficking paraphernalia and cash, the report says.
The three are in Mahoning County Jail without bond until their arraignments in Campbell Municipal court at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
