Tuesday is deadline to register for HOMESAFE program

AUSTINTOWN — Brookdale Senior Living/Clare Bridge Austintown and MAXIM Healthcare Services are sponsoring the Safe Senior Symposium and hosting Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department’s HOMESAFE registration program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Clare Bridge Austintown, 1420 S. Canfield-Niles Road. The event is free and open to the public.

Registration is required by Tuesday. Call Nickie Keagy, Clare Bridge Austintown, at 330-270-1448.

Guest presenter is Robert Williams, assistant fire chief of the Austintown Fire Department. Light refreshments are available and there are door prizes.

Registration for the HOMESAFE program registration for persons with Alzheimer’s or dementia is available. HOMESAFE is a database that is restricted to law enforcement only.
