Pumpkin Walk at the gardens

YOUNGSTOWN

The annual Pumpkin Walk at Twilight will be Sunday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave. Admission is free.

Visitors can stroll the gardens’ pumpkin-lined paths while day turns to night. More than 500 pumpkins carved into jack-o-lanterns will be on display and there will be live entertainment and children’s activities. This event is free and open to the public.

Those who want to carve pumpkins can come to Fellows’ service building today and tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Carving tools will be available or bring your own. For information, call 330-740-7116.

French film will be screened

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.

Westminster College’s Jake Erhardt International Film Series will show “Mood Indigo” at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Sebastian Mueller Theater. The program is free.

The 2013 French film (original title “L’ecume des Jours”) is a surreal romantic comedy set in Paris. Wealthy bachelor Colin meets and falls in love with Chloe, who develops an unusual illness: a flower begins to grow in her lungs. Colin discovers the only cure is to surround Chloe with a never-ending supply of flowers.
