St. Charles school relying on authorities for Ebola information
BOARDMAN
The St. Charles Borromeo sent a news release this afternoon, saying that amid all of the information and misinformation circulating, the school will continue to rely on advice from direct, authoritative sources who are most knowledgeable about the Ebola virus.
“The parish, school and religious education office will continue to operate as always,” the Rev. Philip Rogers said in the news release. “In the meantime, we appreciate your support, your prayers and most importantly, your trust.”
The school learned Thursday at a relative of a student was on the same Oct. 10 Dallas to Cleveland flight as Amber Vinson, the nurse who tested positive for Ebola this week. The relative doesn’t live in the same house as the student and doesn’t have any symptoms, Diocese school officials said.
