Local author Christie to have book signing

Local author Nancy Christie will be signing copies of her short fiction collection at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Boardman on Oct. 19 from 2-4 p.m. Christie will be signing copies of her latest book, “Traveling Left of Center and Other Stories” (Pixel Hall Press).

The theme of “Traveling Left of Center and Other Stories” is of people who are unable or unwilling to gain control over their lives and so find themselves “traveling left of center.” Reviewers and book bloggers across the world have described the stories as “complex, varying and thoroughly imaginative” that “feed our paranoias, our fears, but also our dreams.” More reviews can be found at http://tinyurl.com/k95oled.

Christie kicked off the book’s September release with a combined book launch and fundraiser for the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, and has future events planned throughout the state.
