Haunted Fire House returns for weekends until Halloween

LAKE MILTON

The Craig Beach Haunted Fire House has returned for its fourth season with a new design.

It was created by the same group of volunteers who presented the Haunted Trail at the state park in Craig Beach.

“This is truly a community project,” said Craig Beach Fire Chief Sherman Yeager. “All of our volunteers are firefighters, EMTs and community volunteers.” Proceeds go toward fire department expenses.

The Haunted Fire House is open every Friday and Saturday in October, concluding on Halloween night. It opens at 7 p.m., with the last tour entering at 10:30 p.m.

The cost is $7 ($3 for children age 3-11). The facility is handicapped-accessible. A concession stand will be on the site and hot chocolate and apple cider will be available.

The Craig Beach Volunteer Fire Department is a non-profit, private fire company.
