Staff report

LORAIN

Starting in January, working professionals in Northeast Ohio will be able to earn their MBA in Lorain County.

The Youngstown State University Master of Business Administration program, designed and taught by the faculty of Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration, will be offered on the campus of Lorain County Community College as part of its University Partnership program.

The Williamson MBA is offered in a business-friendly concentrated format that meets on alternating Saturdays, allowing students to complete the 39 hours required for the MBA degree in two years.

The Williamson MBA is accredited by AACSB International — the mark of excellence that less than 5 percent of all business schools worldwide have earned.

Admission criteria are designed to reflect the importance of work experience. Those with full-time, professional work experience, may apply for a waiver of the standardized test admission test (GMAT/GRE equivalent).

To learn more, The MBA Program at the Williamson College of Business Administration will have an information session at 6 p.m. next Wednesday at Lorain Community College, 1005 Abbe Road N, Elyria, OH 44035, University Center, iLoft, Room 119.

For information or to reserve a spot at the information session, contact the Williamson MBA office at mba@ysu.edu or 330-941-3069.
