Wynonna Judd coming to Stambaugh Auditorium

Country music star Wynonna Judd will come to Stambaugh Auditorium on Jan. 30 for an 8 p.m. concert.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at the Stambaugh box office, 1000 Fifth Ave., online at stambaughauditorium.com and by phone at 330-259-0555.
Wynonna will share the backstories for some of her most iconic songs at the concert, which is part of the. Wynonna and Friends: Stories & Song tour. She will perform with her three-piece band, including her husband, producer and award-winning artist, Cactus Moser.
Wynonna’s career started in the early ’80s as half of the country-singing duo, the Judds, with her mother, Naomi. The Judds received multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM Awards and sold more than 20 million albums.
In the early 1990s, Wynonna launched a solo career. Her quintuple- platinum 1992 solo album, “Wynonna,” spawned four No. 1 hits and was the best-selling country album by a female artist at the time. In 1994, Rolling Stone called her “the greatest female country singer since Patsy Cline.”
The five-time Grammy winner is also an author and women’s shoe designer.
