Teen fiction author to visit local libraries Thursday

AUSTINTOWN — Ally Condie, author of the best-selling “Matched” trilogy for teens, will visit two local libraries Thursday.

Condie will talk about her dystopian-themed books at Austintown Library at 9 a.m. and again at noon.

For the noon event, attendees may bring a brown bag lunch. The library will provide a light dessert and beverage. Seating is limited for both presentations, which are for teens in grades 7-12 and their families. To register, call 330-744-8636 or go to libraryvisit.org/trw.

Additionally, there will be a meet-and-greet event at Poland Library at 6 p.m. Thursday, at which Condie will sign her book and pose for photos. There will be food, games, crafts and prizes.
