THURSDAY

Brookfield Fire Hall, 774 state Route 7 NE, will be the location of an all-you-can-eat soup and a dessert meal from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $6. The event is sponsored by Brookfield Ladies Auxiliary.

Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will serve its free Supper At The Corner dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The event is a full meal, and donations are accepted.

Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, Boardman, will sell takeout meals of beef tips and noodles from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The cost is $8 and includes corn, roll with butter and homemade cookie. Drive to the back door to place your order; it will be delivered to the car. Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up starting at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders may be picked up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will take orders for packaged cold potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6 per dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi on Fridays. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 to 11 a.m. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

SATURDAY

Cortland United Methodist Church, 155 N. High St., will host a turkey dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. It will include homemade dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, bread, dessert and beverage. Tickets are $9 for adults and $4 for children 5 to 12; kids 4 and under-eat free. Carryouts are available. Sponsored by the church women to benefit mission projects.

Southington American Legion Post 751, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, will host a Swiss steak dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The dinner will include mashed potatoes, coleslaw, vegetable, drinks and dessert. Takeouts are available.

St. Luke Church, 348 Robbins Ave., Niles, will serve a Swiss steak dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The dinner includes mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce and homemade dessert. Fowler Fire Department will serve a pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193. The cost is $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for seniors and $4.50 for children. Preschoolers eat for free.

Knights of Columbus Father Venglaric Council 11915 at St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, will host a spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. in the church hall. The event will include a basket raffle. Dinner will cost $8 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12; kids 5 and under will eat for free. The dinner will include a salad, bread and butter, drink, and cake. Carryout orders will be available beginning at 10 a.m. The spaghetti sauce and meatballs also will be available for separate purchase beginning at 10 a.m. Take containers, or they will be provided. Proceeds will benefit the council’s charitable endeavors.

Alchemy Acres Animal Sanctuary will host a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Salem Italian-American Banquet Hall, 260 Penn Ave. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at 330-332-4897. The cost is $7 per ticket; children under 5 eat for free. The meal includes meatballs, salad or applesauce, Italian bread, coffee, tea or lemonade and a dessert.
