Assault reported
WARREN
A 36-year-old resident of the 1000 block of Atlantic Street NE reported being assaulted by two men who knocked on his door at 5:45 p.m. Monday and insisted that he was “Aubrey.” They entered the house, with one of them hitting the victim in the head with a video game guitar and the other kicking him in the ribs. The two left after the victim used pepper spray on them. The man’s 14-year-old son witnessed the incident, and the suspects told him not to call police “or else.” The victim went to St. Joseph Health Center for treatment.
