YWCA to host violence workshop

YOUNGSTOWN

YWCA of Youngstown, 25 W. Rayen Ave., is sponsoring Preventing Violence in Our Daily Lives at 2:30 p.m. Friday during the Center for International Students coffee hour. The event is free and open to all.

Dorothy Kane, of VIP Family Violence Prevention Coalition, will present the workshop.

One in four women and one in seven men have been victims of domestic violence.

The event is part of YWCA Week Without Violence, the third week in October. The initiative began almost 20 years ago.
