Wynonna’s career started in the early ’80s as half of the country singing duo, the Judds, with her mother, Naomi. The Judds received multiple Grammy, CMA, and ACM Awards and sold more than 20 million albums.
In the early 1990’s, Wynonna launched a solo career. Her quintuple platinum 1992 solo album, “Wynonna,” spawned four No. 1 hits and was the bestselling country album by a female artist at the time. In 1994, Rolling Stone called her “the greatest female country singer since Patsy Cline.”
The five-time Grammy winner is also an author and women’s shoe designer.
