Man faces charges of intimidation, burglary
YOUNGSTOWN
Police arrested a man Saturday afternoon after he was accused of entering his ex-girlfriend’s house without permission, and forcing her and a friend onto the roof before officers arrived.
Police were called to a home in the 3000 block of Hillman Avenue about 1:40 p.m. for a report of two women locked in a bedroom while an intruder was in the house. When police arrived, they found the women hanging outside a second-floor window.
As officers walked up to the home, a man later identified as Jimmy Roldan Torres, 28, walked out the front door and was taken into custody. One of the women said Torres was her ex-boyfriend. She said he came in the house while she and her friend were sleeping, and he pounded on the bedroom door and threatened them.
Torres was taken to the Mahoning County jail on charges of aggravated burglary and intimidation of a victim or a witness because he threatened the women after he was taken into custody, reports said.
