Little truth or consequences evident in Obama White House

Truth or Consequences: These two words should be related, however due to the sad condition of our society and the stupidity of this thing they call political correctness, truth or consequences are two words that could be removed from the English language. How often have we heard President Barack Obama use the word consequences? Then we have that elusive and seldom used word: truth.

Arthur Schopenhauer, German philosopher put it so wisely “All truth passes through three stages. First it is ridiculed. Second it is violently opposed. Third it is accepted as being self-evident.” We have listened, searched, yearned and hoped for the truth to emerge out of Washington, only to receive the usual two-minute dialogue that confused us further.

During Obama’s campaigns he promised over and again that during his presidency there would be complete transparency among the White House, the Congress and the people. He promised if elected to cure the country’s ills. He would do this through what he called “Fundamental Transformation.” We heard these words often. The first lady also used them in some of her speeches.

Obama did little to cure our ills but has attempted to make himself a citizen of the world at the cost of desecrating his own country. When a newsman asked for the president’s reaction to the scandals involving Benghazi and the Internal Revenue Service, his answer was that he only knew what he had read in the newspaper. He is still denying these incidents are scandals.

What is this man doing in the White House?
