AUCTIONS

Trumbull Mobile Meals will have a basket extravaganza Nov. 8 at Packard Music Hall. It will feature food, music, 100 silent auction baskets, and basket and live auctions.

BAZAARS

Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., will have its 74th annual bazaar from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be a cafeteria-style luncheon from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Also featured will be Granny’s Attic with gently used books, clothing, housewares and furniture; and handmade items such as floral arrangements, gift items, decorations and baked goods. Proceeds will be distributed to local charities.

Gustavus Federated Church, south of the intersection of routes 87 and 193, Farmdale, will host its annual bazaar and turkey dinner from 2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 25. The meal includes dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, squash, cranberries, coleslaw, rolls, beverage and dessert. Carryouts will be available. The price is $10 for adults and $5 for children. The Country Store inside the church opens at 1 p.m. and will feature baked goods and homemade candy while it lasts.

New Bedford Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 151 Woodland Drive, Pulaski, Pa., will have its annual fall bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 1. Specialty rooms will feature Christmas, crafts, cookies, candy, and trash and treasure. Lunch will be available, and homemade soup and baked goods will be sold for takeout. Zion Lutheran Church, 10857 Main St., New Middletown, will have its annual bazaar and spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. There will be a basket auction, baked goods, jewelry, trash and treasure sale and a brown-bag lunch. The spaghetti dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and will feature homemade sauce, salad, bread and butter, dessert and beverage. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for ages 6 to 12. BINGO/CARD PARTIES

St. Brendan Altar and Rosary Society will sponsor its annual fall bingo and card party at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Maxwell Hall, 2800 Oakwood Ave., Youngstown. Admission of $5 includes lunch. Tickets will be sold at the door.

St. Charles Church Ladies Guild will have a bingo and card party from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Oct. 26 at the church on Westview Drive in Boardman. Refreshments will be served. Admission is $5.

Western Reserve Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will have a fundraising card party from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 22. All proceeds will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of Teagan Kocsis, who was born with CF. There will be lunch, door prizes, a basket auction and a 50-50 raffle. BOOK SALES

Hubbard Friends of the Library Book Sale will take place at the Hubbard Public Library, 436 W. Liberty St., from 9 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Oct. 22 and 23; 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Oct. 24; and 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Oct. 25 which will feature $2 a bag sale. CASINO NIGHTS

St. Joseph the Provider School will sponsor a night at the races/casino night at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 at the St. Joseph the Provider School/St. Anthony of Padua Church complex, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown. CRAFT SHOWS

Delightful Evangelical Congregational Church, 2473 Barclay-Messerly Road, Southington, will host a craft and vendor show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. It will feature homemade crafts and home party vendors. Crafters and vendors are still needed. Proceeds will benefit the church.

Saxon Ladies Branch 22 is having its annual craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 8. It will include a basket raffle, a 50-50 drawing and a light lunch menu. The cost is $30 to rent a table. For information call 330-788-4274.

St. Jude Women’s Guild is seeking vendors for its annual craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15 at the St. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. SALES

Girard Multi-Generational Center Gym, Trumbull Avenue, between Belmont Avenue and Route 422, will host a trash and treasure sale from 9 to 3 p.m. Saturday to benefit Girard High School First Robotics Team. Donations of clean items in good condition will be accepted Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. The sale will include items from more than 25 families and will include clothing; there will be no early sales.
