Springer and Turner to campaign in Warren

WARREN

Jerry Springer, the host of one of TV’s most outrageous talk shows and a former Cincinnati mayor, will campaign Thursday in Warren with state Sen. Nina Turner, Democratic nominee for secretary of state.

Springer, who’s visited the Mahoning Valley on a number of occasions over the years, will be with Turner at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Trumbull County Board of Elections, 2947 Youngstown Road S.E., to encourage people to vote early.

“Strong communities start at the ballot box — where every eligible Ohioan has the opportunity to make their voice heard,” Turner said. “This election is critically important to the future of our state and it is imperative that folks come out to vote this year.”
