Groups to sponsor stew cook-off

The Ancient Order of Hibernians and Trumbull Mobile Meals are sponsoring a Stew Cook-off competition from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Parish Reagan Hall, 3020 Reeves Road.

The family friendly event will feature food and refreshments, live music by Lords of Leisure, an Irish Step Dancing demonstration and gift basket raffles.

Admission is $6; kids under 12 will be admitted free.

Proceeds will benefit the Trumbull AOH Academic Scholarship Fund and Trumbull Mobile Meals.
