Boardman Lions make donations

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR At the Sept. 11 meeting of Boardman Lions, Pat DeAscentis, representative for Project Linus, accepted a donation of $500. The organization makes blankets to distribute to at-risk newborns. Boardman Center Middle School PANDA organization also received a $500 donation. PANDA encourages responsible decisions about bullying, depression, violence, self-esteem and other issues. Above, Mandy DiPietro, PANDA coordinator, presented Matt Gambrel, Boardman Lions vice president, with a certificate of appreciation for the Lions Club support over the past few years.
