Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA AND MAHONING COUNTIES

Wednesday, Oct. 15: Broiled chicken, broccoli, penne with Alfredo sauce, apple, oatmeal cookie or angel food cake, bread and milk.

Thursday, Oct. 16: Pork loin with gravy, mashed sweet potatoes, mixed vegetables, unsweetened applesauce, bread, grape juice, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Friday, Oct. 17: Beef patty on a bun, cooked carrots, lima beans, pineapple tidbits, grape juice, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Saturday, Oct. 18: Turkey and cheese, tossed salad, coleslaw, unsweetened fruit, orange juice, bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Monday, Oct. 20: Chicken filet, seasoned potatoes, green beans, apricots, wheat bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Tuesday, Oct. 21: Chili macaroni, peas, cauliflower, apple, Italian bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal. To make a reservation or for more information, call 330-675-2486. Wednesday, Oct. 15: Grilled chicken breast with gravy, mashed yams, peas, wheat bread with margarine, unsweetened pineapple and milk.

Thursday, Oct. 16: Meatloaf with gravy, bow-tie pasta, mexicorn, white bread with margarine, diced pears, apple juice and milk.

Friday, Oct. 17: Stuffed pepper with sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, shredded lettuce with Italian dressing, wheat bread with margarine and milk.

Monday, Oct. 20: Pork choppie with gravy, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, cinnamon applesauce, wheat bread with margarine and milk.

Tuesday, Oct. 21: Boneless chicken delights, oriental mix vegetables, rice pilaf, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits, apple juice and milk.
