Lehmans mark 70th anniversary with open house

SALEM

Elmer and Margaret Leh- man of Salem celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house Oct. 5 at the home of their daughter, Ruby Breneman of Salem.

Hosting the event were the couple’s family. The Leh- mans have a son, Melvin Lehman, of Tool, Texas.

Mrs. Lehman, the former Margaret Snyder, retired in 1994 from Witmer’s Inc., in Columbiana, where she was a small-engine-parts clerk.

Mr. Lehman retired in 1997 from Witmer’s as a small engine repairman.

The couple were married Sept. 30, 1944, in Rittman, Ohio.

They are members of Zion Hill Church of the Brethren in Columbiana.
