GARDEN CLUBS

TUESDAY

Garden Club of Ohio Inc., Youngstown District, will meet at the Davis Center, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown. Registration will be at 9:30 a.m., and the meeting will take place at 10. Mandy Smith, education manager of Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek, will present “Herbs and Essences” at 10:30. Lunch will be served at noon, and Shirley Griffin will present “Closets Full of Clothes — Nothing to Wear” at 1 p.m. The meeting will adjourn at 2. Reservations were taken.

THURSDAY

Johnny Appleseed will meet for chair yoga with Ellen Ford at 7 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church in Boardman. Val Zurawick will be the hostess and will provide the door prize.

SATURDAY

Sunflower will meet for club discussion, club focus, election of officers and handbook planning. The hostess is Juanita McCullough.
