Dinner, concert mark 50th for the Moores

GIRARD

Mr. and Mrs. William Moore of Girard celebrated their 50th anniversary Sept. 21 by attending the Pittsburgh Symphony and having dinner at Ruth’s Chris Restaurant.

Hosting the celebration was the couple’s son, Dr. Edward Alan Moore of Pittsburgh. They have another son, Timothy W. (Holly) Moore of Radford, Va., and they have one grandchild, Ethan.

Mrs. Moore, the former Jane Moore, retired in 1995 from Bank One in Youngstown.

Mr. Moore retired in 2000 from McClurkin Funeral Home in Girard.

The Moores were married Sept. 26, 1964, at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ in North Lima.

They are members of First Presbyterian Church of Girard.
