Clothing drop-off
Clothing drop-off
POLAND
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2985 Center Road, is sponsoring a clothing drop-off shed. The clothing is collected by St. Pauly Textiles, a family-owned, upstate New York company. St. Pauly collects usable clothing, and in 2012, more than 59 million garments were distributed to an estimated 7.5 million people.
St. Pauly has more than 800 clothing drop-off sheds in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont. This program keeps clothing out of the landfill and helps out those in need, and Prince of Peace donates the small revenue generated to local causes.
