YSU leads Western Illinois 17-14 at halftime

Youngstown State scored a pair of second-quarter touchdowns to take a 17-14 lead over Western Illinois at halftime of Saturday's Missouri Valley game at Stambaugh Stadium.

Backup quarterback Hunter Wells found Jelani Berassa for a 15-yard TD and RB Jody Webb ran for a 9-yard touchdown for the Penguins.
