Tahnee Jones and Adam Hoops, both of Boardman, were married in a 5 p.m. ceremony Aug. 2 at Rustic Acres, where a reception followed. The Rev. James Reardon officiated.
The bride wore an ivory and light gold gown with lace overlay and beading throughout. It had a low back and a mermaid fit.
Brittani Jones, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Noble and Lauren Noble, the bride’s cousins; Julie Birchler; Bre Alleman; Rachel Bodnar; and Chelsea Hoops, the groom’s sister. The groom’s daughter, Gianna Hoops, was the flower girl. The attendants wore rum pink dresses.
Michael Hoops, the groom’s brother, was best man. Groomsmen were Chris May and Justin May, the groom’s cousins; Jeff Eck; Mike Camacci; Patrick Diefendorfer; and Ethan Jones, the bride’s brother. The bride’s son, Rylo Mocker, was the ring bearer.
Mrs. Hoops, daughter of Heidi and Douglas Jones of Austintown, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She teaches first grade at Taft Elementary in Youngstown.
Her husband, son of Leann Wallace of Austintown and Dave Hoops of Niles, graduated from ITT Technical Institute with an associate degree in criminal justice. He works as a paralegal in a law office in Boardman.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple reside in Boardman.
