Man gets jail time in fatal beating outside bar


KITTANNING, Pa. (AP) — A man has been sentenced to jail time on an involuntary manslaughter conviction in the beating death of a man outside a western Pennsylvania bar on St. Patrick’s Day last year.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that 45-year-old Otilio Cosme of Ford City was sentenced Thursday in Armstrong County Court to 18 months to three years in the county jail.

Cosme was one of four men charged in the March 2013 death of 39-year-old James Sullivan of Chicora in Kittanning.

Twenty-eight-year-old Dennis Rosenberger was sentenced last month to three to six years in prison on aggravated assault and involuntary manslaughter convictions.

Thirty-four-year-old Keith Brison and 20-year-old Anthony Bove are scheduled for trial next month on criminal homicide and aggravated assault charges.
