LOWELLVILLE

Lowellville approved a lighting project during city council Wednesday night. The project will improve lighting along a section of Water Street and sidewalks at the Third Street and McGill Road intersection. Bill Meehan, village administrator, said he thinks the project will be done in spring or summer 2015.

The project will cost $173,000. The Ohio Department of Transportation will fund 80 percent of the project.
