Copper pipe theft at Boardman condo

Township police are investigating a case of breaking and entering in which about $2,000 worth of copper pipe was removed from a condo on the 6000 block of Applecrest Court.

According to a police report, a Realtor with Western Reserve Realty Group reported on Wednesday that he saw a man leave the unoccupied condo when he went to check on the property.

He then checked the basement, where he discovered about 20 feet of copper piping had been removed.

An officer also noticed cut copper pipe laying on the floor.

The estimated value of the missing copper pipe is $2,000, according to the report.
