Pumpkinfest planned in Volant community

VOLANT, PA.

The Volant community will gather to celebrate Pumpkinfest from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Families may enjoy the outdoor barbecue and many varieties of pumpkin foods, drinks and crafts on both days.

Saturday will be highlighted with music filtering throughout the village with horse drawn wagon rides and a Ghost Walk. A chili cook-off and bake sale are planned. Sunday features a car cruise and a pie-baking contest.
