Poland library schedules Star Wars event

The Poland public library, 311 S. Main St., is planning a celebration of galactic proportions for Star Wars Reads Day from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader will be on hand, and those arriving in costume could win a prize. The event will also feature crafts, games, food, and a “Talk Like Yoda” contest. The library will join more than 2,000 libraries and bookstores across North America in this celebration.
