Man killed in one-car crash on Youngstown's East Side

YOUNGSTOWN

Police are waiting to identify a man who was killed in a one-car accident about 11:15 p.m. Monday on the East Side.

Police said the man was traveling south on Landsdowne Boulevard near East High Avenue when he went off the right side and hit a utility pole.

This is the fourth fatal accident in the city within two weeks and the second in less than 24 hours. A 20-year-old woman was killed about 5:30 a.m. Monday on Interstate 680.
