BUCYRUS, Ohio

Authorities say they have found a 15-year-old girl who was missing for nearly two weeks from her Bucyrus home in north central Ohio.

A statement from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says FBI officials located Rebecca Kemper in a Mansfield apartment around 4 p.m. Monday.

Kemper had last been seen by her mother at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 23. Her mother called police after discovering the girl’s bedroom window open and her daughter nowhere to be found.

The FBI joined the search for Kemper last week at the request of local law enforcement agencies. Authorities say they analyzed Internet and cellphone data and were following up on a lead from the weekend.
